BabyDos at Poul Kjær Poulsgaard

Poul Kjær Poulsgaard chose the BoPils BabyDos mini wet-feeding system to replace his milk feeding system in the farrowing barn. BabyDos delivers fresh prestarter and milk replacer directly to the piglets in the trough.

"The piglets have gained about half a kilo in weight before weaning, and this has resulted in a much more uniform litter," says Poul Kjær Poulsgaard. The trend shows a daily weight gain of 40–50 grams more than before.

BabyDos is fully automatic with automatic cleaning and disinfection, giving the barn manager full control via the feeding computer—and significantly reducing manual labor in the farrowing barn.
