ESF at Jørgen Popp Petersen

Jørgen Popp Petersen switched from floor feeding to the BoPil ESF transponder system in the gestation barn. The switch made it possible to feed the sows individually according to their specific needs and body condition.

With the transponder system, each sow is given exactly the right amount of feed. This reduces feed consumption and significantly improves the sows’ body condition, as overfeeding and underfeeding are eliminated.

Jørgen Popp Petersen is very pleased with the investment and has experienced fewer problems with the condition and health of the flocks since switching to the individual feeding system.
