Koberg chose SpotStrø

Koberg Förvaltning AB in Sweden selected BoPils SpotStrø’s straw distribution system for the automatic distribution of straw to 12,000 pen spaces. The Swedish farm prioritized high animal welfare and efficient workflows when designing its large-scale finishing pig operation.

With SpotStrø, the pigs are automatically bedded up to three times a day with chopped straw blown directly into the pens. The system is fully automatic and provides the barn manager with complete documentation of the bedding process via the computer’s logging system.

"We put a bale into the shredder, and then we don't have to deal with the straw again until it's time to haul it out with the slurry tanker," is the typical feedback from SpotStrø users.
