BabyDos is the only system on the market that offers individual feeding at the pen level. BabyDos enables early feeding of both milk replacer and prestarter in the farrowing barn, providing the piglets with consistency and ensuring better weight gain until weaning.
BabyDos enables sows to care for more piglets on their own, while significantly boosting the piglets’ growth, as it dispenses milk replacer or prestarter directly into the feed trough in the farrowing pen.
All feeding stations can be easily controlled via a feeding computer or directly on a tablet or smartphone. This allows the feed manager to adjust the feeding settings directly while making his rounds in the barn.
With BabyDos, you can avoid manual labor, as the system operates fully automatically and ensures that no food is left behind. Automatic cleaning and disinfection ensure a high standard of hygiene.
Take advantage of the option to feed both milk and feed, and start weaning the piglets while they are still in the farrowing pen. Temperature-controlled automatic mixing ensures that the feed is always fresh and at the correct temperature.
The piglets have gained about ½ kilogram in weight before weaning, resulting in a much more uniform litter. The trend shows a daily weight gain of 40–50 grams more than before, with lower feed consumption.
