We recommend starting the feeding cycle late in the evening so that the last sows and gilts are fed by the time your employees arrive at work in the morning.

If a sow changes her feeding behavior—for example, by altering her position in the feeding hierarchy—this is typically a sign that she is unwell. The transponder sends you a "soft" alert when the sow changes her behavior. Use this information to address the sow’s condition early on.
